They meet only once or twice a year with their big event being attendance at the Ethnic Scouts and Guides Association of Victoria (ESGAV) ‘jamborette’ each year. The ESGAV annual camp is a great event with Estonians, Hungarians, Latvians, Lithuanians, Polish, Russians and Ukrainians as members and Australian Scouts and Guides invited to attend.

The Latvian campsite outside Kilmore, VIC and known as "Tervete", is often used for events such as Jaanipäev.

It’s also quite cheap ($90 a head this year with $50 a head subsidised) with superb food included supplied by the Hungarian scout cooks!
